It is that time of year again. Love is in the air and the Valentine’s Day is upon us. I always enjoy February. Gives me a great excuse to watch romantic comedies and force my husband on fun, cute dates he secretly loves. However, he has always been such an amazing gift giver, and I am awful at it! Are you in this same boat? Well, that is why I have really put my best foot forward in creating this comprehensive Valentine’s Day gift guide. For both you and me! Hopefully, we can all turn to this guide each year (I’ll keep it updated!) for some good, solid gift inspiration. Let’s take a look, shall we?

The Basics
Let’s start out easy. Below, I’ve listed the basic Valentine’s Day go-to’s for simple and must-have gifts anyone will love.
1. Movie Tickets
You can’t go wrong with movie tickets! You can either run to the theater and purchase movie tickets for the upcoming weekend or, what I prefer to do, is grab a movie theater gift card. This way, the gift is still a surprise, you don’t have to worry about messing up any other plans that might come up, and you can discuss which film to watch beforehand.
2. Dinner Out
Dinner is a Valentine’s Day tradition for most couples. It also makes an easy gift idea. If you can’t make dinner on Valentine’s day, give a gift card as a promise for a dinner date soon!
3. Box of Chocolates
Who doesn’t love a fabulous box of chocolates?! THIS BOX has me absolutely drooling.
4. Flowers
Get some gorgeous flowers on order from Amazon, makes the perfect gift to come home to!
5. A Beautiful Card
You can really find some incredibly creative cards out there (like this one!)… even wooden ones!
6. Stuffed Animal
Stuffed animals are another great, classic gift to give to a loved one! I am loving this cute, giant stuffed bear!
7. Tara’s Natural Caramels
Tara’s Natural Caramels are AMAZING! They also come in bulk so they last forever!
8. Balloons
My final “classic” Valentine’s day gift idea are… balloons! Another easy and fun way to celebrate this day of love.

Step it up a Notch
Next, let’s take the classic gifts and bring them to the next level.
9. Potted Plant
Instead of giving flowers, why not give a potted plant to enjoy for the rest of the year? The great part about this is that so many people enjoy plants. Some ideas might include: succulents (super low maintenance), a lemon or pepper tree (for your favorite chef!), a small herb garden, ferns, or a house palm tree.
10. Preserved Rose
Flowers are such a nice gift. Unfortunately, they don’t last forever. However, a preserved rose will!
11. Flower Vase
Okay, one last flower-related gift idea. If you do choose to go with the bouquet of flowers, why not include a nice flower vase as well?
12. Cute Couple T-Shirts
I love a good corny and cute couple T-shirt set. Plus, today you can find so many different options, making it easy to find the perfect one!
13. Chocolate Covered Cookies
Yum! Chocolate covered cookies bring sweets to a whole new level.
14. Chocolate Covered Strawberries
This is another great food-related idea. Instead of a box of chocolates, why not get some gourmet chocolate covered strawberries?
